In Loving Memory of

Dr. Gamal Ali Eldweny

Born: November 15, 1956 (11 Rabi' al-Thani 1376 AH) Passed away: September 5, 2021 (28 Muharram 1443 AH)

The Muslim Ummah lost one of its notable figures — a physician who believed that the healing of bodies is never complete without the purification of souls. He was a unique example of someone who combined the medical profession with religious scholarship: a devoted physician and, at the same time, a scholar deeply versed in Islamic history, hadith sciences, Islamic jurisprudence, and Qur'anic sciences. He practiced medicine with a spirit of faith, believing that prevention and treatment are part of the Prophetic guidance, and he left behind a rich scholarly library, sincere da'wah, and an audio and visual legacy of sermons and lessons.
